The Qualified Rate Of Children'S Clothing In Shenzhen Was 73.63%

In the second quarter of 2010, the Municipal Market Supervision Administration organized a spot check on children's clothing (including school uniforms) products and commodities produced and sold in Shenzhen. A total of 91 batches of products produced by 60 enterprises were sampled, and 67 batches passed the inspection. The sampling pass rate was 73.63%. The main unqualified items were fiber content, PH value, color fastness and other items.

The main unqualified items found in this spot check are fiber content, PH value and color fastness. Among them, 14 batches of samples were unqualified in terms of fiber content. The fiber content reflects the real attributes of the product and is the main reference content for consumers to purchase clothing products. Therefore, whether the content is correct or not directly affects the interests of consumers.

PH value of 6 batches of samples is unqualified. PH value is the safety index of textiles. The PH value of the human skin surface is weakly acidic. If the PH value exceeds the standard, it will destroy the barrier of the human body surface against disease, and easily cause skin itching and other inflammation.

The color fastness of two batches of samples is unqualified. The dye fastness itself is not a toxic factor, but the dye should be permanently fixed on the fabric. If it is transferred to the human skin, it will cause harm to the human body. When clothing with poor color fastness encounters water, sweat or saliva, the pigment is easy to fall off and fade, affecting the beauty, and the dye molecules and heavy metal ions in the pigment may be absorbed by the skin, endangering health.

In view of the main quality problems found in the supervision and spot check of the production field, the Market Supervision Bureau has dealt with the unqualified production enterprises in the spot check according to law and made rectification within a time limit.

In view of the quality problems found in the quality monitoring in the circulation field, positive measures have been taken to carry out a special inventory action throughout the city, remove the unqualified commodities with the above quality problems from the market and deal with the business units according to law.
