According to the Pakistan business records July 23rd, the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan will release its trade policy for the fiscal year (July 2010 to June 2011).

The foreign trade export target set by the new policy is US $21 billion 500 million, an increase of 10.93% compared with the actual export of US $19 billion 382 million in the last fiscal year, up 21.55% compared with the actual export of US $17 billion 688 million in the previous fiscal year.

An industry source said that the Ministry of Commerce will put forward a series of export incentives in trade policy, which are partly derived from the trade policy of the fiscal year.

It is also known that the Ministry of Commerce issued the "2009-12 year trade policy framework" (STPF) at the beginning of the financial year, and said that no new trade policy would be issued in three years.

However, since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan said that the policy failed because the Ministry of Finance failed to grant timely funding for STPF related projects, so it is necessary to resume the annual trade policy.

In the next cotton season, the Pakistan Senate textile Standing Committee recommended that 50 million kilograms of yarn be exported per month.

The Senate textile standing committee also approved the decision made by the house of representatives to extend the adjustment tax on yarn exports for one month.

The meeting of the Senate textile standing committee also rejected the proposal of textile minister and Deputy Secretary to suspend the adjustment tax on cotton yarn export for two months.

Despite the same recommendations from the house textile Committee on March 1 2010.

The deputy head of the textile department said that 604 million kilograms of yarn had been exported, but the required export volume was about 700 million kilograms, which was the result of the use of the adjustment tax.
