Le Tien Truong, deputy general manager of Vinatex, said that the exhibition provided an opportunity for domestic clothing business units to engage with foreign producers, equipment and materials providers to help the clothing sector gradually integrate into the regional and world markets.

It is a major export sector in Vietnam, which reached $9 billion 100 million in the first 10 months of this year, equivalent to the export volume in 2009.

This year's export volume is expected to reach US $11 billion, higher than the annual target of US $500 million.

With the growth of exports, Vietnam's clothing sector has accelerated the development strategy of the domestic market, forecasting that the annual growth rate will reach 30% next year.
