China Will Launch Timely Preferential Tax Relief Policies For Coal And Gas Outburst Mines This Year.

In 2010, 135 coal mine gas accidents occurred in China, with 593 deaths, down 14% and 21.5% compared with 2009.

Among them, there were 2 accidents involving more than 30 people, 11 accidents involving more than 10 people, and a particularly serious accident was unchanged from 2009.

In 2010, more than 27 coal mine gas outburst accidents occurred, with 262 deaths, representing an increase of 6 from 22 to 22 years.

23 of the 27 gas outburst accidents occurred above 300 thousand tons were small coal mines with a proportion of 85.2%.

In these 27 larger and above coal mine gas outburst accidents, there are 11 major accidents, all of which occur in the coal mines belonging to the villages and towns, or in the township coal mines that have just been integrated by the state-owned coal mines.

Zhu Fengshan, director of the science and Technology Equipment Department of the Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, pointed out that coal mining conditions are becoming more and more complex in recent years, which is the cause of the frequent occurrence of coal mine gas accidents.

With the increase of mining depth, the problem of gas, ground temperature and ground pressure intertwined, bringing more uncertain geological factors, and also making gas prevention and control more and more difficult.

Some small and medium-sized coal mines in China

In the year 12th Five-Year, we should further implement and improve coal mine gas prevention and control policies, accelerate the merger and reorganization of coal mining enterprises, and establish an assessment and examination system for gas prevention and control capability.

Gas overrun must be traced according to the accident and severely crack down on illegal activities such as super level cross boundary mining and super capacity production.

On this basis, we should further promote the development of coalbed methane industrialization, and study and solve the mechanism of coalbed methane development.

And timely introduce preferential tax relief for high gas and coal and gas outburst mines.
