Anti Dumping Market EU

March 25th hearing

European Union

The committee recently issued a notice announcing that since March 31, 2011, no anti-dumping duties had been imposed on leather shoes produced by China and Vietnam since it had not received any re examination applications from the EU footwear Federation, which means that the EU's anti-dumping on Chinese leather shoes for nearly four and a half years is expected to end at the end of the month.

Yesterday, the industry told reporters that nearly four and a half years of EU leather shoes to China.

Anti-dumping

It is expected to end at the end of this month, and Shishi casual shoes will return to the EU market.

It is understood that the EU formally imported from China in October 2006.

The maximum rate of anti-dumping duty is 16.5%.

In December 2009, the EU decided to reconsider the anti-dumping measures on Chinese leather shoes for another 15 months. The plan should expire at the end of this month.

Shishi casual leather industry is most affected by the EU's anti-dumping duties on Chinese leather shoes. Because Jinjiang's sports shoes and children's shoes are not in the anti-dumping list, the European Union is also the traditional market of Shishi casual shoes. In the past four and a half years, Shishi's casual leather shoes leading enterprises have abandoned the chance to participate in the largest footwear exhibition in Europe and Germany Dusseldorf international footwear exhibition once a year, basically abandoned the EU market, fought in the CIS, the Americas and other overseas markets, and achieved an annual decrease in export volume.

Although Shishi casual leather shoes have regained the opportunity to enter the EU market, it does not mean that the Shishi casual shoes have entered the EU market.

In announcing the cancellation of anti-dumping duties, the European Commission also announced that it would closely monitor the export of leather shoes from China and Vietnam to the EU for a year, and if necessary, appropriate measures would be taken promptly.

Shishi shoe enterprises must seriously study the EU's laws and regulations on leather shoes export, standardize their own business practices, abide by industry rules, create a favorable environment for the export of Shishi casual shoes to the European Union, and improve the export product mix through the enhancement of product research and development and brand value, so as to establish a diversified export market space, so that the export of Shishi's casual shoes is more stable.
