The delegation and senior officials of the house of representatives of the United States Congress said they supported Philippines's "industrial law to save us".


The bill aims to revitalize local Filipino clothing and the American textile industry.


The US delegation was led by California Republican lawmaker Dana Rohrabacher, including members of the Missouri Democratic Party Russ Carnahan, South Carolina Jeff Duncan, California Jim Costa, Texas Republican Louie Gohmert and Ted Poe, also forming part of the US congressional delegation.

The visiting US Congressmen are urged to pass.

Rescue law


The vice minister referred to the long history of the two countries and introduced the mutual advantages of the American textile industry and Philippines garment manufacturers in creating jobs.


In this regard, Rohrabacher promised that he would push through this proposed bill, and he even asked his colleagues to do likewise.

He said: "sovereign states should promote free trade. Philippines is a democratic country and should make trade relations more prosperous."
