Shandong Silk Textile Vocational College

The predecessor of the Shandong silk industry school was founded in 1960. In 1962, it was closed because of the adjustment. It was restored to school in 1980. It belonged to Shandong textile department and Shandong silk General Corporation. It was classified as Zibo in 2001.

In 1992, he was named the provincial and ministerial level. In 1999, he was selected as the national key vocational school. In March 2006, with the approval of the Shandong Provincial People's government, the Silk Textile College of Shandong was formally established on the basis of the Shandong silk industry school, and the full-time college of the college is a specialized college.

Faculty strength:

Students and teachers: there are 4291 students in school and 278 part-time teachers. Among them, there are 206 teachers in school and 72 outside teachers.

Among the full-time teachers, there are 65 professional titles above the sub high level, accounting for 31.6% of the total number of teachers, and all of the teachers' academic qualifications are above the undergraduate level, and 61 of the postgraduates are 29.6%.

80% of the teachers have professional skills certificates, and 30% are employed as job appraisers of all relevant posts of the labor bureau, and become "double qualified" talents.

Purpose:

"Teaching centered, employment oriented, industry based, enterprise backed, quality assurance and silk leading" is the school's concept of running schools. It is the school's aim to train skilled and innovative talents with certain comprehensive cultural quality and strong practical operation ability.

At present, the Institute is taking Scientific Outlook on Development as its leader and standing at a new starting point to plan for new development. It aims to build up a new type of Higher Vocational College in the end of 11th Five-Year, which is able to build up its self-development ability and competitive power, and has advanced school running ideas, perfect management system, complete teaching facilities, special school running characteristics, and multi professional, multi-level and diversified school running modes.

School Honours:

The Institute has set up the training center of the Chinese Academy of Arts and crafts, the distance training point of the Ministry of education, the education management information center, the vocational education and adult education research base of Shandong Province, the designated training point of Shandong computer application ability grading examination, the training and assessment base of Shandong Textile Vocational Skill Appraisal Institute, and the Shandong Zibo city labor skill assessment training base.

The college has always attached importance to the construction of cultural civilization. It has been rated as the "garden style unit" at the provincial level, the advanced unit of moral education in the national textile system, and the provincial civilized unit.
