The Russian textile industry has said that after Russia's accession to the WTO, the import tariffs on tanning and processing fur will drop by 1/4 before 2014.

The import tariffs on fur products will also be the same before the end of 2015.

Domestic fur producers must find ways to increase labour productivity and quality and compete with imported products.
