The Bangladesh Export Promotion Council recently released information that the total value of shoes exports in Bangladesh reached 95 million US dollars in July and August, up 33% over the same period last year.

The government revealed that Bangladesh has more than one shoe industry in the world.

Famous stores make shoes, including ABCMart listed in Tokyo, shoe shoe dealers in the Asian style, Aldo brand in Canada and so on.

At present,

European Union

Countries, Japan, Canada, Australia and other countries can get shoes from Bangladesh through tax-free and quota free ways.

But the agency also said that this year,

international market

Orders have been greatly reduced.

The market's leather slipped from $0.2 to $0.3 per square foot.

In addition, the recent floods in the country will have a negative impact on the purchase of raw materials for Eid al AdhA.

So prices are still hard to control.

The Export Promotion Council believes that prices will continue to vary according to market conditions.

The rise in labor costs has prompted some of South Korea's producers to turn to Southeast Asia where wages are generally low.

South Korean officials have also been trying to attract companies to move back. They promise to provide tax relief and other incentives to businesses to offset higher labor costs in South Korea.

This practice has successfully persuaded some small companies.

South Korea's Ministry of industry and Commerce Resources said today that 12 Korea Companies have agreed to move back from China to South Korea, mainly shoe makers and textile producers.

Since 2012, 66 companies have agreed to move back to Korea.

Recently, China Leather net has also reported that 5 shoe companies in South Korea and Busan have reached an agreement with the Busan government, and decided to move the production line that once focused on China and the Kaesong Industrial Park back to Busan.

In the decades leading up to the decline of a large number of shoemaking companies, Busan has been the shoe industry center in Korea.

Last year, 4 other Korean shoe manufacturers agreed to return to Busan.

Seoul's commitment to these companies includes the exemption from corporate tax in five years and subsidies for the resettlement of production facilities.

South Korea's recent free trade agreements with the United States, the European Union and other countries and regions have also played a role in the company's move back, because the low tariffs enjoyed by South Korea's products make them more competitive in the global market.
