The sixteenth China International dyestuff industry and organic pigment and Textile Chemicals Exhibition (referred to as "2016 China International dyestuff Exhibition") and the 2016 Shanghai international digital printing and dyeing Automation Technology Exhibition (referred to as "2016 Shanghai International Digital Printing Exhibition") were hosted by the China Dyestuff Industry Association, China printing and dyeing industry Association and the Shanghai Council of China Council for the promotion of international trade. China Dyestuff Industry Association said that during the "12th Five-Year plan" period, as the traditional export market of China's textile industry, Europe, Japan and South Korea economy recovered to varying degrees. China's domestic textile industry moved to the central and western regions and made substantial progress. The domestic consumption market growth rate, as the upstream industry of the textile industry, showed a mild upward trend in the dyestuff industry, maintained a steady growth, and the development of the industry tended to be scientific and rational.

In 12th Five-Year and 11th Five-Year, the total output value of dyestuff industry increased by 33.34%, product sales revenue increased by 30.22%, dye output increased by 20.33%, and organic pigment output increased by 12.01%.

It is expected that the dyestuff industry will keep stable operation in 2016, but the relevant enterprises still need to accelerate the pformation and upgrading in terms of technology R & D, international operation and brand influence.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, the export of Chinese dyestuffs remained basically stable, and the export market was mainly in Asia. The top four exports were Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan and Turkey.

Exports to Bangladesh and Vietnam rose the most in the top ten markets.

According to statistics, during the "12th Five-Year" period, China's dyestuff industry achieved an industrial production value of 250 billion 460 million yuan RMB, an annual average growth of 8%; the product sales revenue was 237 billion 60 million yuan, an average annual growth of 6%; the total output of dyestuff and pigment was 5 million 430 thousand tons, with an average annual growth rate of 4%, of which 4 million 337 thousand tons of dyestuff were produced, with an average annual growth of 4.5%, and the output of organic pigments was 1 million 91 thousand tons, with an average annual growth rate of 2.1%.

In 2016, the implementation of the "one belt and one way" strategy of the sixth dye Exhibition Asia tour will be held on November 10th -12 at the Istanbul Exhibition Center in Turkey. It will create an effective platform for Chinese enterprises to develop international markets, create international brands, enhance the competitiveness of China's dyestuff international market, and promote the internationalization of China's dyestuff industry.
