The threat of "made in China" also brings many social problems to the local community, which makes the relationship between Chinese and government managers tense.

Reported that Italy's pravton is a high quality fashion goods manufacturing place, but in recent years, a large number of Chinese labor force immigrants came here.

The report said that since the late 80s of last century, the phenomenon of Chinese labor force's migration to platat was only a few, but then it was thousands of people. Many of them were illegal immigrants. Now it has become the most densely populated place in all Chinese in Europe.

The report accuses the Chinese of turning the former "European textile center" into a low-end garment processing city, adding that not only that, but also the "annoyance" of the locals and the Chinese people's "dependence on their own".

Rules of the game

"Relying on tax evasion and circumvention of certain regulations of the authorities to make their business develop greatly, but the local businesses are plunged into" beyond redemption ".

The report said "this caused local residents to have a comprehensive fear of Chinese immigrants and the economy".

The report also said that the Bank of Italy said that the Chinese people in Prato would quietly pport up to 1 million 500 thousand US dollars to China every day, mainly because of the profits of clothing and textile trade, which were not shown in the local tax records.

Some local officials accuse the Chinese of returning profits to China rather than reinvesting it locally.

Not only that, the report also accuses crimes involving local Chinese, including illegal imports of textiles, smuggling, prostitution and money laundering, while the tensions between local Chinese and Italy officials are also increasing as the latter crackdown on the use of illegal labor by Chinese enterprises.

In fact, many politicians in Italy have highly praised the role played by Chinese in local development, affirmed their achievements in actively integrating into the mainstream society, and hoped that they will continue to play a greater role in promoting the development of Sino Italian relations.

Italy media also reported that the rapid rise of Chinese enterprises in Prato will further stimulate the development of the local economy and consolidate the position of Prato in the European textile wholesale market.
