An Entrepreneurial Experiment Of "Weaving Man" In Italy

Venture Enterprise

"Why do you come to China? Because I like Chinese women, ha ha."

Paul teased him for the first time he came to China two years ago with his peculiar jokes in Italians.

Of course, he did it for the purpose of

work

The former old club is the largest polyester production in Europe.

enterprise

At that time, a new factory was built in Dongguan, and Paul was the technical backbone of the company that established a branch in Brazil, England and Turkey, and was responsible for China.

工厂的所有机器设备的拆装、调试和投产。

In 2009, after helping the company set up the factory and make it an important polyester yarn manufacturer, Paul resigned from a well paid position.

Because he discovered a business opportunity, and the romantic Italian is ready to make an ambitious start in China.

What is Paul's pioneering experiment in China?

Entrepreneurship ID

Entrepreneur: Paul.

Company name: Between International Consultants

Location: Dongguan / Shanghai

Current team: 8 people

Business mode: third party service providers, engaged in the disassembly and maintenance of textile equipment, and provide technical solutions and related management and personnel training, serving small and medium enterprises in China.

Entrepreneurial sentiment: I feel the value of my life here.

Maybe at least I can do some rare attempts in China. If I am valuable to a group of ordinary Chinese workers, I will be valuable to a group of companies, and then cultivate a dream enterprise in my heart. That's my dream.

"Go astray" entrepreneurship

Paul's Chinese is not very good, and the communication with the people around him basically depends on his Chinese wife plation.

But he is witty and insistently that his own business is "going astray".

"When I was working in China, I met my wife. We must live together when we get married."

In Paul's view, this is the cause of the most "power" of his business.

At the same time, Italians, who have 20 years of technical experience in the textile machinery and equipment industry, have served the largest textile equipment companies in Europe. They seem to be losing their commercial arguments to Wall Street savvy investors. "In China, you can feel everything is possible. This feeling is hard to find in old Europe.

I am engaged in textile machinery installation and commissioning and production management training, I believe this has great opportunities for development in China.

This business is entirely due to Paul's own experience.

It turned out that in his work, Paul found that some of the Italy textile machinery and equipment production enterprises they knew were able to sell their equipment to China, but it was difficult to provide and maintain efficient and good technical support and training services, because the cost of sending European and American technicians to China was very high, and the installation and commissioning of textile machinery and personnel training took at least a few months, and the wages and expenses incurred during the period were quite high.

In addition, Paul also found that some small and medium enterprises in China, compared with European enterprises, there is still a gap in organizational management. If we can absorb European technology and management experience, we can better improve work efficiency and reduce production costs.

Paul's chance came.

"I live in China now.

In addition to 20 years of experience, technology and even my own technology patents, I am also good at organizing and managing system design, having practical management experience and being good at training employees.

Paul said, so that foreign companies do not pay higher remuneration for outsourced equipment maintainers, such as dismantling or installation and commissioning, maintenance equipment, and so on, outsourcing to their own company, and China's small and medium enterprises workers can also be trained in their own team to become skilled workers.

By the end of 2009, Paul formally established the company's Between international consultants.

His position is the third party service providers, and is trying to introduce Europe's relatively advanced industrial production technology and management experience to China to provide services for small and medium-sized enterprises in China.

Recruitment of "migrant workers" service providers

Paul, the technical expert, is the biggest selling point of the company.

But what is it called a start-up company?

The first thing that Paul started was recruitment and training.

The first batch of skilled workers he recruited is not a highly educated person. In the Chinese words, they are migrant workers. They have no experience in large factories, and can be said to start from scratch.

Knowing nothing about machinery, they may have done the biggest mechanical work is to repair the alarm clock at home. To train them to become technicians who really install and repair these large equipment is really not easy! "Recalled Paul's original process, he could not help" annoyed ". He felt like a kindergarten teacher. Sometimes he had to explain five times in detail, and ten times the workers could really remember that some steps were reversed and reworked. This is a laborious exercise with physical strength and mental energy." of course, sometimes I feel frustrated and even angry, but my workers hope to learn to make me feel determined. "" at the very beginning, my Chinese workers.

He said, I believe they will succeed.

A few months later, the workers really became technical experts, all of them could be left alone.

The last thing he was proud of was that he finally installed 6 large Chinese RATTI workers and 2 Italy workers, and set up 20 modern large-scale high-tech factories.

As an entrepreneur, Paul is also seriously thinking about a fashionable Chinese word, the profit model.

According to Paul's thinking, his profit mainly depends on selling services.

"At present, it mainly accepts the late maintenance of foreign enterprises in China and charges them for services."

Paul said that the list has been successfully obtained from several European enterprises, but there are not many orders, but the cycle of each list is very long, at least 3 months. The main source of these customers is the "connections" and word of mouth in his previous work. In the future, he will strive to develop small and medium-sized enterprises in China and provide training, technology and management solutions or optimization programs in the form of consultants.

One China dream

Whether Paul would succeed or not, he didn't think much about it.

More often than not, he thought he was carrying out a pioneering experiment in China.

"Like an experiment, along with the heart."

He said that the process felt a lot of flavour. It was not as easy as it was imagined. It experienced a lot of fear and fear. It was mainly in the mind that suddenly lost the backing of a big business. After giving up a good job, everything started from scratch, and every day he had to face his own salt and grease, to settle accounts, to face the market competition and find customers in an unfamiliar country. He once thought of shrinking, but finally insisted on coming. Now everything is going well.

He is not stint at the praise of those who insist on him.

He said he had a good wife, and love gave him strength.

In addition, friends around him also helped him a lot, especially Chinese friends.

For example, once a new project was started, it rained and he stopped the car at the door. The workers who had taken the initiative offered to buy him a good rain cape. He also received a jade eagle's "Eagle's wings", meaning "wish you success", and even the workers were obliged to help him during his break time, without asking for any reward.

"I hope that one day my Chinese workers, who are very ordinary Chinese workers at the beginning, will be sent to Europe to study and work in the world due to their excellent work.

I also hope that I can be valuable to a group of Chinese workers and valuable to a group of companies, and also develop an ideal enterprise in my mind.

He said that this is one of his Chinese dreams.
